Graduates earn 5,736 degrees from the University of Delaware


About 20.2 percent of the 5,736 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of Delaware in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Newark conferred 906 bachelor's degrees and 253 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general finance. Data shows the school gave out 270 bachelor's degrees in general finance, followed by 261 associate's degrees in general studies and 216 bachelor's degrees in general marketing/marketing management.

The university enrolled 23,774 students for 2017-18, including 19,750 in undergraduate programs and 4,024 in graduate programs.
